Anchor bolts are mainly used to fasten steel structures, mechanical equipment, lamp poles and other components into concrete foundations, forming a firm connection between upper structures and foundations. There are 6 common types shown in the figure, with their structural features, advantages and application scenarios listed below:
1. 9-type Anchor Bolt
Structural Features
Its tail is bent into a hook shaped like the number 9, and external threads are machined on the shank to fasten components with matching nuts. The hook embedded in concrete creates strong mechanical interlock to resist pull-out force effectively.
2. Umbrella-handle Anchor Bolt
Structural Features
The tail is bent into an umbrella-handle hook; one end is the threaded exposed section, while the hooked end is pre-embedded inside concrete.
3. 7-type Anchor Bolt
Structural Features
The tail is bent at a right angle in the shape of number 7; the threaded section extends out of concrete for subsequent tightening installation.
4. Welded Anchor Plate Bolt
Structural Features
Anchoring steel plates are welded at the bottom of the screw; anchoring force is generated by the compression between steel plate and concrete, while threaded upper part is used to secure equipment.
Fix heavy machinery, stamping machines, generator sets, pump units and other equipment with continuous operation vibration or impact load, preventing bolt loosening caused by cyclic vibration.
5. Claw-type Anchor Bolt (Welded Claw Anchor Bolt)
Structural Features
Multiple spread anchor claws are welded at the screw tail, and the claws are embedded separately in concrete.
6. Anchor Bolt Cage
Structural Features
It is an integrated prefabricated part assembled by multiple anchor bolts, ring steel plates and reinforcing ribs into a cage structure, with threaded ends reserved on bolt tops. It works like tree roots to disperse foundation loads.
